Athena Whitbread (Birth name Deena) was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK and has lived there all her life. She has been drawing since she can remember; from doodles inner notebooks to AP art classes in high school and digital illustrations. Her dream is to pursue animation one day doing character designs and story board work, but right now she’s more than happy drawing cute critters. Even to this day Athena doodles in notebooks or on her phone and has little side projects like comics or sketches she enjoys drawing in her free time. Athena has always loved animals despite having allergies to most animals. She loves cats and dogs and despite some sneezing and itchy eyes, she’ll still love and pet them all the same. She currently has a pet Canary bird named Pipa and hopes to adopt more birds in the future as she luckily doesn’t have an allergy to feathers! Some of her favourite animals art otters, owls, alpacas, parrots… okay there are too many to name!
