What do you mean by The Original Freckles (or Freckles I) and
Freckles II?

The Original Freckles was the rabbit that the stories are originally named after. She was the first Freckles.

Freckles II is Freckles number 2 and she came along later, when we no longer had the first Freckles. Freckles II helps keep the stories going by being as mischievious, funny and cute as the first Freckles and she does the replying back to emails and letters.

Both Freckles' have the same personalities, they both like to come over and cuddle, get into mischief, gentle behavior, chew cords, run around crazily and use a litter box.

They are different as well though. The Original Freckles had round spots on her and mostly white. Freckles II has big brown patches on her more than spots and she is about half and half brown and white.

Are these characters based on real animals?

Yes, they are very much real, just like you and me. If you visit the About Us page, you can view the real life animals' photos there.

How does Paypal work?

You sign up for it (free to use), attaching either a credit or debit card to it. It is quite secure. They will send a few cents to your attached account over the next few days and ask for those two amounts to verify your account. Once that is done, you are able to purchase products online. You can either place money into paypal right away or it can withdraw it from your account.

Why to Choose Createspace (Amazon) E-stores and How it Works.

Createspace is an Amazon publishing company. They allow author's to self-publish their works which is called, Indie publishing. All purchases made through these links allow a little larger profit margin for the author after the cost of the books are taken off. Unless an author plans to severely over-charge for books, the profit margin is smaller then you might perhaps think. By using these links to purchase books, Vickianne Caswell donates $1/book to the rescue organization, from each of her books sold. This is for all books that she has published, whether it be Freckles the Bunny Series, Sherlock the Remarkable Cat Series or perhaps a future book title.

You will first need to create a Createspace account. Once you have this, you can easily add the books to your shopping cart. If you plan on purchasing more then one book title (or from the other series), there is no need to worry. Simply make sure you are signed in and add them into your cart. Make sure that when you are ready to pay, that you are purchasing through your Createspace.com account or directly from the Createspace links. The prices are in U.S dollars and if you read the Rights and Policies below (see the link), you will see that it is an Amazon.com company and therefore, safe to buy from. You can easily add more then one copy of a selected book once it is in the cart and before you finalize your purchases. It would be wise to pay for them all rather then separately as Amazon charges less with each book you add on after the first one.

Createspace gives me a monthly listing of whether the books are purchased from Createspace or Amazon.com. I tally up those from Createspace and when I reach $20, the rescue organization receives the money.

Does finding your book on Amazon mean I found your E-store so that you will donate my dollar?

No, you have to buy specifically from our links for each book for us to donate.

How do you know that I bought a book on the e-store so that $1 is donated to the Humboldt & District SPCA?

Amazon's Createspace gives a record of every book sold & tells us whether it is sold through our e-store or Amazon.com. Once we have accumulated so much money, we take it to the SPCA.

How do I find your E-store?

You can go through the "Createspace Sales." The button can be found on the sales page.

Why are the fundraising books higher?

I make a lot less profit from these books then you may think. The upped prices cover shipping as well as allow the organizations to make $2/book profit.
