Updates Finally

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted. A new Freckles book is still in the works but it is slow coming. This is my fault. A lot of my time is being spend on the new business and getting it going. My efforts haven't been in vain though and I am getting it moving forward. I've also begun taking some classes online so I am spending a lot of time learning. I just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you.

In fact, Freckles and Sherlock have new merchandise out and online through the business website. I also have the books retiring in the systems so that I can put out new editions with better editing. These are slowly coming. Freckles' sixth book is out and on Amazon. Freckles and Stew are doing well as is Sherlock. We are hoping to begin attending events this Spring and by next year, I hope to contact schools for readings once more. I will try to post more regularly and get to updating the websites soon. Thanks for being such loyal fans!

Oh!! One last note. Freckles' book # 5 & 6 will be online soon as e-books. You can pre-order until then. Keep an eye out for them on Barnes & Noble, Apple, etc. The price is $2.99 USD. You can pre-order now on Smashwords. These are the new and edited versions.

Website Additions and Smashword Sale

Website Additions

We've added the following new things to the website:

Shown the pages that you once had to find the buttons to get to (we are doing a poll to see if this is easier for our viewers to navigate around).
There is a character page where children can read and learn more about their favorite characters and where they live. This can also be found on Sherlock's website as well but with his characters.
A new form can be found on the Newsletter page. I have not had time to create newsletters lately but I know many want to be kept up to date on the latest books. This new form will keep you from missing book release dates, book sales locations (online and offline), previews, book signings and more! You can even sign up for both series' there!

Smashwords Sale

E-book prices are down for the weekend on Smashwords. Buy them for $2.99 USD. The Freckles Christmas book is still at $3.50.

E-Books and Fan Expo Regina

This will probably be the last posting for the weekend! If you are in Regina, Saskatchewan this weekend then be sure to stop by the Saskatchewan Writers Guild's table. I will be there on Sunday from 1 - 4PM. The animals will not be present but I will have their books. I will also be taking orders. Hope to see you there!

Lastly, just an update on the e-books. I am still working on formatting the other books so that they are available as well. In the meantime, book # 1 of Sherlock and Freckles is available and listed at the following places:
1. Barnes and Noble
2. Smashwords
3. Apple (Buy through Itunes)
4. Scribd
5. Versent Books
6. Flipkart (so far only one is listed)

Other locations are still coming! A new page has been added and I have been updating them daily as I find my books in their search engines. There are a few that don't share their book listings, in which case I have listed them. If you see these and are a member but the books are not there, be patient as they are on their way.

T-Shirt Contest
If we can get 115 likes on the series' Facebook fan page by the end of this month, we will give away one of the adult t-shirts we have. Keep in mind that these will also be for sale and the only ones made or to be made with the old Freckles. T-shirt prices will be posted as soon as we can, along with the sizes.

Book Contest
Same contest as the last book. Look at the book cover, like the Series' Facebook fan page, read the rules and guess what the bakery is named under the picture. Contest deadline, July 12, 2013.
